At John Villanueva, MD – Pain & Spine Management, our Pre-Medicine/Pre-Health Internship Program is designed to provide motivated undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students with a comprehensive, hands-on introduction to clinical medicine and research. With over 30 talented and driven interns having successfully completed the program, we take pride in cultivating the next generation of compassionate and skilled physicians. Interns gain direct clinical experience, and contribute to research projects that have been presented at prestigious national medical conferences, including the American Academy of Pain Medicine and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. As a mentor, I am deeply committed to supporting each intern’s journey, offering one-on-one guidance through the medical school application process.
